Ed & Deb Pisarik were born and raised in Berwyn, Illinois, which is in the Western Suburbs of the Chicagoland Area. There they owned and operated two successful Chicago-Style Hot Dog stands. Marco's I and Marco's II. After many years they decided to sell both restaurants and move to the La Crosse area to open the same Chicago-Style Hot Dog stand in April 1996. It's a family owned business and Ed & Deb take pride in the success of their products and business.. The Vienna "Hot Dog Stand" got its start during the hard times of the depression. A Chigago Style Hot Dog is a Vienna hot dog made with only the freshest & leanest domestic beef, mixed with a secret blend of spices and hardwood hickory smoke. We nestle the Vienna hot dog in a bun & cover it with a wonderful combination of toppings: yellow mustard, bright green relish, fresh chopped onions, juicy red tomato wedges, Kosher style pickle, spicy sport peppers and a dash of celery salt (optional) all wrapped up with an order of fries! What is an Italian Beef? We start with the very best Beef cooked with Italian spices in our specially made cooker, sliced the next day and served on authentic Turrano french bread-try topping it with sweet or hot peppers.
